The wonderful world of Rulantica

When the tribe chief Viken and his Viking people arrived in Rulantica in 900 A.D., they found a true paradise full of mystical beings and rich mineral resources. Stories recount how the trickster god Loki created Rulantica out of the stones and mud of the nine Nordic worlds and magical beings from all these worlds settled on the island.
Most of the mythical creatures belong to the troll species and have settled in the Trølldal. They live in harmony with nature and sometimes can barely be distinguished from their surroundings, meaning that for a long time their existence could not be proven and trolls only appeared in fables.
