The complex system of caves beneath Rulantica
When we think of an \'underworld\' we think of gloomy caves. This perception is a long way from the reality of the Rulantica underworld. The circular river, Utanända, has created a cave network beneath almost the entire island of Rulantica and has created an extensive and multi-branched system of caves and grottos. Enormous waterfalls connect the various levels with one another, and the magic root trolls use bioluminescence to ensure that the colourful corals, but also normal plants such as ferns and even mushrooms, can survive in the cave. A real paradise has developed there, both above and below water.
