A temple in the honour of the goddess Frigg
The Vikings who had been spared created a splendid temple in honour of the goddess Frigg. However, the Vikings knew more about working with tar, brick clay and wood and knew less about stone, meaning that the ravages of time ate away at the temple and now only a few, imaginatively designed stones bear testament to its former splendour.
In the \'Rulantica\' special exhibition, the old temple is a place to linger and relax: shallow pools of water and a bar cater to spiritual and physical well-being, whilst the multiple relaxation areas and stone formations invite visitors to stop and enjoy the sun.
