Rulantica as a test object?
According to legend, the Nordic god Loki created the island of Rulantica to lead humans into temptation. As a typical trickster god, Loki was always trying to cause chaos in the world order with his tricks.
If you believe the legends, Rulantica was also a trick of this kind. Loki created the world without the permission of the Nordic father of the gods Odin, and gave it a magical source. He wanted to prove that humans would never be free of the desire for eternal life. To increase the stakes, and therefore to increase desire for the island, he hid it from the view of the world: the island would only appear when he blew his magic horn, according to legend.
